You Can Help Support CASA’s Mission
No matter who you are, where you’re from or what your experiences are, if you want to help children thrive, you can get involved!
Volunteer With Us
CASA volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. They are the ones directly interacting with children, advocating in court and creating real change. Volunteers must be 21 years old, pass background checks, complete a 30-hour training and commit to serving for at least two years.
Donate to CASA of Lexington
It costs about $1,000 to provide a CASA volunteer to an abused or neglected child for one year. Much of that cost comes from providing full-time Volunteer Managers to support our volunteers, as required by state law and National CASA standards. Without our donors, none of what our volunteers accomplish would be possible! CASA Champions make our work sustainable long-term by donating monthly. You can view other ways to give here.
Support Us Through Partner Programs
Collette Travel, Dan Cummins dealerships, Kroger and Office 360 office supplies all offer programs that send a portion of your purchases back to CASA of Lexington as a donation.
Become a Friend of CASA
Friends of CASA help us staff fundraising events, recruit new volunteers, raise awareness about CASA online, acquire silent auction items, help address mailings and more. There are no minimum requirements — you help when you can and when you want to.
Serve on Our Board of Directors
CASA of Lexington has a highly active Board of Directors, filled with people from all our counties who are passionate about the CASA mission. If you’re interested in being considered for a future board seat, you can email CASA of Lexington Executive Director Melynda Jamison.
