2026 Winter In-Person Regional Training
This regional in-person training class is for anyone wanting to serve as a CASA volunteer in Bourbon, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Scott or Woodford counties.
Classes will be held January-March 2026 at the main CASA of Lexington office, 3245 Loch Ness Dr. in Lexington, KY 40517.
In order to participate in this training class, you must submit a volunteer application, submit to background checks, and complete an initial interview.
For winter trainings, makeup days are also planned in case of inclement weather.

5:30-8:30 PM Thursday, Jan. 8: Introducing the CASA Volunteer Role
9 AM-4 PM Saturday, Jan. 17: The Well-Being of the Child; Trauma, Resilience, and Communication Skills
5:30-8:30 PM Thursday, Jan. 22: Mental Health, Poverty, and Professional Communication
5:30-8:30 PM Thursday, Jan. 29: Substance Abuse and Cultural Competence
9 AM-4 PM Saturday, Jan. 31: Domestic Violence and Diversity; Educational Advocacy, Older Youth, and LGBTQ Youth
5:30-8:30 PM Thursday, Feb. 5: Working a Case and Court Reporting
5:30-8:30 PM Thursday, Feb. 19: Wrap Up and Volunteer Panel
5:30 PM Thursday, March 5: Graduation
Makeup days for inclement weather will be Saturday, Feb. 7, and Thursday, March 12. If March 12 is needed, March 5 will become a class day and March 12 will be graduation.
