All CASA volunteers, staff members and board members are required to complete training on diversity, equity and inclusion each year. Information on recorded and live DEI trainings will be made available here so you can easily complete this requirement.

KCN CASA Week Training: Building Belonging
You can watch a recording of the 2021 CASA Week training “Strategies for Building Belonging in Everyday Advocacy.” This training is provided by the Kentucky CASA Network and led by Dr. Adrianne Fletcher. It counts for 2 hours of CEU credit and fulfills your annual DEI training requirement.
You must obtain a password to view this training by emailing info@casaoflexington.org.
Please forward the certificate you receive after completing the training to your Volunteer Manager.
Project Implicit (Harvard)

Kirwan Institute Implicit Bias Series
This video training series on implicit bias is provided on-demand by the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at The Ohio State University.
DEI Training From News Channel 5 (Nashville)
This video provides one hour of training on diversity, equity and inclusion. Watching fulfills the requirement for all CASA volunteers of completing at least one hour of DEI training each year.
