“Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope” is a one-hour documentary that discusses the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and birth of a new movement using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease. Hear from a panel of local experts as they weigh in on the significance of ACEs and resilience-building in our community and learn about a new community project to address ACEs and trauma.
This training is worth 2 CEU credits for CASA of Lexington volunteers. It is being put on by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky at the Farish Theater in the Lexington Public Library, 140 E. Main St., in Lexington. The training is free but RSVPs are requested.
