Spring In-Person Scott County Training Starts April 18

This in-person training class is for anyone wanting to serve as a CASA volunteer in Scott County, or anyone wanting to serve in CASA of Lexington’s service region who is willing to travel to Scott County for your training. All classes on this schedule are held on Saturdays.

Classes will be held April 18 to May 23, 2026, at the Scott County CASA of Lexington office, 109 N. Court St. in Georgetown, KY 40324.

In order to participate in this training class, you must submit a volunteer application, submit to background checks, and complete an initial interview.

This regional in-person training class is for anyone wanting to serve as a CASA volunteer in Bourbon, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Scott or Woodford counties.

Classes will be held September-October 2026 at the main CASA of Lexington office, 3245 Loch Ness Dr. in Lexington, KY 40517.

In order to participate in this training class, you must submit a volunteer application, submit to background checks, and complete an initial interview.

This regional in-person training class is for anyone wanting to serve as a CASA volunteer in Bourbon, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Scott or Woodford counties. The condensed schedule fits all 30 hours of training into a single week.

Classes will be held June 22-26, 2026, at the main CASA of Lexington office, 3245 Loch Ness Dr. in Lexington, KY 40517.

In order to participate in this training class, you must submit a volunteer application, submit to background checks, and complete an initial interview.

2026 Winter Online Training Starts Jan. 19

This online training for new CASA volunteers consists of seven virtual training sessions held over Zoom. Participants will also complete guided learning modules on their own time.

9:00-11:30 AM Tuesday, Feb. 24 - Session 6: The Court Process & Final Wrap Up

An in-person swearing-in ceremony will be held 5:30 PM Thursday, March 5, at the CASA of Lexington office, 3245 Loch Ness Dr. in Lexington, KY 40517. Participants will also complete court observation and final interviews, which will be scheduled individually.
