Abused and neglected children have often suffered more traumatic events in their first few years of life than others experience in a lifetime. Unfortunately, our system does not always prioritize the needs of these vulnerable children, causing additional trauma.
CASA of Lexington volunteers advocate for these abused and neglected children in seven central Kentucky counties: Bourbon, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Scott and Woodford.
