There are two ways to volunteer with CASA
Choose which program is best for you!
A Friend of CASA is someone who wishes to support our mission but may not be able to commit the time to take a case and/or feels better suited to duties other than the CASA volunteer position. Friends of CASA have varying skills and time that they are willing to contribute.
A CASA advocate (volunteer) speaks on behalf of the child in the family court system and acts as their voice in the courtroom. A CASA advocate serves as the eyes and ears outside of the court system so that they can ensure a safe and permanent home for the child.
Volunteers are ordinary people committed to speaking up for children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
No special educational background or expertise is required! We provide the training and support.
If you have good people skills, common sense, the ability to be empathetic and non-judgmental, and a love of children,
You could make a difference in the life of a child.
