SUMMARY:Winter 2027 In-Person Training
DESCRIPTION:This regional hybrid training is for anyone who wants to ser
 ve as a CASA volunteer in one of CASA of Lexington's seven counties: Bou
 rbon\, Fayette\, Garrard\, Jessamine\, Lincoln\, Scott or Woodford.\n\nP
 articipants will attend five 3-hour training sessions at the CASA of Lex
 ington office\, 3245 Loch Ness Dr. in Lexington\, Ky. Each participant w
 ill also complete 15 hours of independent study\, along with court obser
 vation and a final interview. After completing all training requirements
 \, participants will be sworn in by a family court judge and can be matc
 hed with children in the family court system who have suffered abuse or 
 neglect.\n\nIn order to participate in this training class\, you must su
 bmit a volunteer application\, complete background check forms and atten
